Reflection

In this unit we have been learning2 about the argumentative essay and also debates, which at the end we must make our own argumentative essay and do debate with other groups.

In argumentative essay we have been learning about the thesis statement, APA referencing, Reasons, Counter arguments, and format. A thesis statement is placed at the beginning of the argumentative essay or at the introduction paragraph. Thesis statement offers a solution for an issue.

 In an argumentative essay there must be a format, there are two formats that we know which is the Pro-Pro-Con or the Con-Con-Pro, in which in the first format the second and the third paragraph we fill it with our reason and we must back it up, but in the fourth paragraph we counter other people’s argument where they think its correct but we said that it is wrong. In the final project of argumentative essay, which is making our own argumentative essay, I must improve in referencing in an APA style.

The second one that we have learned in this unit is about debating. We learned about the Pros and Cons, in which the Pros is the one that are defending the topic, and the cons is the one that is trying to state that the topic is actually wrong. We must use evidence and make a statement, and sometimes we use the ARE, which stands for Assertion, Reason, and Evidence. What I must improve in debating is eye contact, I rarely use eye contact on my audience.

Argumentative Essay (Idham)

There has been an accident in tol Jagorawi which include Ahmad Dhani which is Dul age 13, the third son of Ahmad Dhani. The accident happened on Tol Jagorawi at 00.45. Dul was driving towards Jakarta from Bogor.  The accident took life of 7 people that Dul hit in the other side of the lane. We as a group strongly disagreed that Dul’s father must be guilty for this accident.

Some say that the father of the son must be guilty for this accident by not taking care of his son properly but on our opinion is that Dul is 13 years old and that is old enough to know which one is correct and which one is wrong. His father actually doesn’t know that Dul was driving the car alone without the driver that he have, Dul’s driver was actually asked to get home early because the next day he have to go to bandung, in this kind of situation Dul must have understand that he cannot drive alone on the highway, and from what I think that Dul must have told his father that he is going to Jakarta by his own.  According to Jakarta Post, Dul was driving Mitsubishi Lancer sedan at a high speed toward Jakarta. From my opinion is that Dul supposed to understand his conditions that he is not big enough to drive a car and also he break the speed limit. The speed that Dul was hitting the divider of the highway at 105 KMH, and the limit of the highway is only 80 KMH, Dul must have understand what is he doing because he was driving at midnight and breaking the speed limit.

Some resources tells that Dul has a fake driving license and also ID, If we properly passed the driving test we must have realize about the speed limit and also understand the consequences of driving at high speeds. In Dul’s crash he killed 7 people. He was driving fast and then he went our of control and then he crashed into the barrier and the car jumped to the opposing lane and crash into a van which consist of 13 and 7 died. Some say that Dul survived because there is front airbags and side airbags.

In my opinion that Dul is supposed to be guilty not his father, because that dul is big enough to make decisions and to know which one is right and which one is wrong. Dul must have told his father that he is going to drive to Jakarta by him self so that his father know what is he doing. Maybe that he is also sleepy because it is midnight and he crash into the walls.

We strongly disagree that Dul’s father is guilty. The above evidence shows that actually Dul is the one that makes the mistake not his Father. Dul is guilty because he was driving in midnight and also he is breaking the speed limit. We as a group has come up with an opinion that Dul is actually big enough to make big decisions, so Dul is responsible of this accident. 

What I have learned

This has been an amazing unit that we have learned a lot about blogging. We have shared many things in this class 9 Everest, we have shared a lot of cool info’s, ideas, facts and many more.  I learn the steps of how to make a good comment, so commenting is for us to interact with the one that writes the post.  or connecting a post to another topic so that a person that is not really interested in example football topic we could connect to another topic so those peoples feel that this post is interesting. We must be creative of making our blog site looks amazing so people want to read it like the template that you choose, the font, the background pictures and many more. We also must be creative on making the post there must be our voice or in other word our opinion on what have we post. I have learnt about online safety, which we cannot put our full name or address for public maybe we could just put our first name. On commenting we cannot use bad words or we cannot give bad feedback like “ I hate your post” or other things like that.

CLOAK!!!!

I just found a video in youtube about a super secret military clothing. Sometimes militaries in the world use camouflage so that they looks the same with their environment, but this one they use a cloaking system which is really cool, mind blowing. The video was taken in Iran I guess. it is really cool.

New part of our eyes are discovered !!!!

Hello guys!!!!

There is an amazing news that i found, i found it in one of Vsauce2 video. There has been a discovery inside our eyes, This new layer is called the Dua's layer, this is one of the cornea layers that haven't been detected previously. This Dua's layer is named after the lead author Harminder Singh Dua. It was published to Opthalmology in May 2013. It really helps the medical treatments to our eyes by this new discovery.

I'm Back

Ha How is going guys?  The second day of blogging.

For someone that loves games, GTA 5 will come on the 17th of September 2013, and GTA online will come 2 weeks after. This game would be on top of my wish list. Saints Row 4 is out and I can't wait to have the game on this week.   Thanks !
